Keep Up with ESPN Cellular


Bored of your same old cell phone service and looking for something new that will keep you updated with the latest sports news? ESPN, the sports network giant, known around the world as the top channel for all the latest in sports and sporting events, has officially released their new cell phone service. ESPN joined with Spring mobile services to offer the latest and best in cellular networks. ESPN, the sports cable giant, will launch their new mobile phone service at Best Buy stores around the country to coincide with Super Bowl Sunday.

The big game is being broadcast on the station`s sister network, ABC. The Mobile ESPN phone will retail for $199, with monthly plans ranging from $34.99 to $224.99 through a new high-speed Evolution Data Optimized service from Sprint. It will feature a black-and-red Sanyo design with real-time sports updates, like highlights, scores and more.

All plans will include the ESPN content for no extra charge. Officials with ESPN said there will be 60-second spots throughout the game to promote the phone service. The spots will feature various athletes, including WNBA star Lisa Leslie and MLB pitcher David Wells. For all sports nuts out there, having an official ESPN phone is a great way to stay on top of the world of sports. Considering that the company has joined with one of the top mobile services in the US, there is no doubt that ESPN cellular customers will get the best service.
