Contractor Charged in Child Abuse Case

An independent contractor has been charged with hundreds of counts of child sexual assault, and child pornography, after he allegedly molested and videotaped children while working in their homes. Authorities have accused Clement Bilski Jr., 43, of preying on at least eleven children who were eight years and under, between 1998 and 2005. If found guilty, Bilski faces up to 20 years in prison for each of the sexual assault charges. Mr. Bilski may also be charged with criminal restraint, weapons possession and endangering the welfare of a child.

Monmouth Prosecutor Luis Valentin told reports that "The depravity in this case has no boundaries." As previously stated, Clement Bilski worked as an independent contractor, a carpenter and handyman, in the children`s homes. The abuse he stands accused of took place while the childrens` caretakers were in a different part of the house. To keep the children quiet, prosecutor Valentin says Bilski gave the children toys and candy to keep them quiet.

Bilski is accused of using ropes and handcuffs to restrain the children, and videotaping himself abusing them. Valentin also says Bilski showed pornographic photos and videos to at least two of the children. In addition, Bilski secretly filmed the children "in various states of undress," according to the Monmouth Prosecutor`s Office. Bilski is charged with 74 counts of first-degree aggravated sexual assault, 30 counts of second-degree aggravated sexual assault and 295 counts of second-degree "endangering the welfare of a child by the manufacture of child pornography."
