The ads are all over the virtual and print worlds- sometimes even in the help wanted classifieds pretending to be full time jobs. They`re easy to spot since they pay more than most business owners pay themselves. While most of these are legitimate, there`s some fine print that needs to be examined regarding how few people actually do make that kind of money.

Affiliate marketing exploits the ability to get in and out of niche markets that Fortune 1000 companies can`t make enough profit in to be worth their while. The fad will be over before they can tool up to knock the floor out from under the pricing.

Publishing ideas, songs, and video content are even harder for them to hit, since they can be downloaded and require no factories, warehouses or shipping. There are two ways to profit here. The most obvious is to sell somebody else`s product. If the information is current enough it can place a business near the head of the pack, where the rest of the story is in the ability to write compelling ad copy and get it to the ideal audience.
