Application Provider Pledges Profits to Hurricane Relief

GetSomePlastic owner David Medlock has provided a way for visitors to his website to donate to hurricane relief efforts by doing something they would normally have done to begin with: applying for a credit card. He has pledged that 100% of the profits from GetSomePlastic for the months of August, September and October will be donated to charitable organizations to aid in the relief work taking place throughout the southern states.

GetSomePlastic is an online financial center, providing access to online credit card applications, free credit reports and other personal financial products.

"While life goes on largely as usual for those of us who weren`t directly affected by the hurricane, we can still be aware of opportunities to help out in the relief work. This includes seeking out local and national vendors and merchants who are supporting the hurricane relief efforts by donating their revenue to those who need it most," Medlock is quoted as saying.
