Douglas County Bank Chooses Goldleaf

Goldleaf Technologies, Inc., a leading provider of Web-based ACH origination and check automation solutions, announced today that Douglasville, GA-based Douglas County Bank has chosen its Goldleaf ACH and Remote Deposit Express solution to equip business customers with both Web-based ACH origination and check conversion/truncation/submission capabilities.

With assets of $320M, Douglasville, GA-based Douglas County Bank is the oldest and largest bank in Douglas County, Georgia. The bank has four locations and 16 ATMS to serve the financial needs of its customers. The bank also offers a variety of financial products and services designed to meet the needs of both businesses and individuals, including mortgage lending, financial planning, and insurance, all aimed at providing comprehensive financial services in a hometown atmosphere.

Remote Deposit Express is a Web-based, bank-branded, front-end solution that requires no software installation. Merchants scan, truncate, and submit checks electronically through a secure, 128-bit RS4 encrypted Internet connection. Financial institutions may process the standardized X9.37 check image files electronically or on paper as substitute checks, making implementation of Remote Deposit Express independent of an institutions Check-21 readiness on the backend.
