Target Set for Mass Expansion

Minneapolis-based Target Stores announced this week that they will be opening 60 new stores in the near future. This will mark the largest mass grand opening in the retailer`s history. New Target stores will open throughout the U.S. in 23 states. In addition to offering the latest in trend-right merchandise, Target also brings a 43-year tradition of community involvement.

Target demonstrates its commitment to its communities it serves by donating more than $2 million each week to nonprofit organizations in the areas in which they operate, employees are involved in local volunteerism efforts, and Target orchestrates other special projects that help meet the social service, arts and education needs of regions served by their stores.

By the end of October, Target will serve guests at 1,400 stores in 47 states nationwide by delivering retail trends at affordable prices.
