HP Sales Surpass 300 Million
Global sales of Harry Potter books surpass the 300 million mark. Christopher Little, author J.K Rowling`s agent, says Tuesday the series achieved this after the publication of "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince."
Potter publisher Scholastic Inc. claims "Half-Blood Prince" sold 11 million copies in the United States in September.
Potter books have now been translated into 63 languages, the latest of which is Farsi. It is available in Israel in Hebrew, France in French, and all over the world, as stated, in more than 63 languages which has led to vast readership and contributed to the now 300 million sales mark.
