Dell To Build Polish Factory
Dell is in talks with Poland to build a factory, which will cost 120 million euros or $150 million, in the central city of Lodz. The deputy head of the Office for Foreign Investment and Information says media reports of the deal have put it in danger.
"I have just learned that because of the information which was published in the press, Dell was on the brink of suspending negotiations," says Foreign Investment office vice president Sebastian Mikosz.
The Gazeta Wyborcza daily reports Wednesday that Dell has decided to set up a factory in Lodz, which would create 3,000 jobs and an extra 9,000 among subcontractors.
