RoXoR Patented Lens Technology

TADCOM AB, maker of patented RoXoR lens technology for roxor [golf sunglasses], announces the U.S. debut and availability of the RoXoR line. Patented in 1998 and already available in Europe, the product has been under continuous development since 1994 by Swedish inventor Torbjorn Stehager and was shown for the first time at the 2003 PGA Exhibition in Orlando.

Utilizing patented lens technology, RoXoR",s polarized lenses block out the green color that the eyes see on a putting green and on a fairway. Bringing out the white color of a golf ball, the brain is better able to read the subtle, break-defining elements of grain, contour and undulation.

RoXoR lenses have been tested on both the PGA European and LPGA Tour and meet or exceed ANSI optical standard as well as European and Australian Optical Standard.

RoXoR specifications include Polarized Golf Lenses in multi-layer, polycarbonate lens with offset eliminated prismatic distortion 8-base lens, UV-Blocker AR-coating, hard-coating with water repellence and true color science.
